Description
The Brookshire Castle pattern of Real Rock® Thin Stone Veneer features a combination of Blue Gray Rubble Quartzite Sandstone, Brown Rubble Quartzite Sandstone, and Mountain Fieldstone Rubble. These types of stone all naturally occur in the Southern Appalachian Mountains. The combination of these stones creates a rich blend of colors that is sure to captivate. The stones in this pattern feature a natural cleft finish. This means each stone is split according to the naturally occurring layers to showcase the unique texture of the stone face.
The Brookshire Castle pattern is inspired by old-world castle design, but it has many modern applications. The artful blend of blue, gray, and brown colors allows the Brookshire Castle pattern to be used to highlight existing architectural features, such as a fireplace or accent wall, or to create a stunning feature.
This pattern consists of square and strip pieces of authentic stone between 5 and 7 inches in face height. It is available in two depths – Thin Stone Veneer and Thick Wall Stone. Real Rock® Thin Stone Veneer is a thinner, lighter-weight option, typically about 1 ½ inches deep. It can be applied to virtually any surface without additional framing or support. On the other hand, Thick Wall Stone is a full-bed depth stone that can only be used on structures that bear weight.
The Brookshire Castle pattern can be applied with visible mortar or as dry stack – without visible mortar. This pattern is a popular choice for both residential and commercial projects. These authentic stones are naturally weather and UV – making them the perfect choice for indoor or outdoor applications.
