Mosaic

The mosaic pattern features irregular pieces of stone typically used for cladding – covering a surface that is not stone with stone. This pattern showcases the natural beauty of Southern Appalachian Stone™. It can be installed with or without visible mortar.

Mosaic stones feature a natural cleft finish – a type of fabrication which cuts at the natural layers of the stone. This showcases the authentic texture of the stone face.

This pattern is ideal for both residential and commercial projects. Authentic stone is naturally weather and UV resistant and is used for a variety of indoor and outdoor projects.

This pattern comes in two depths – Thin Stone Veneer and Thick Wall Stone. Real Rock® Thin Stone Veneer – typically about 1 ½ inches deep – is applicable to virtually any light weight bearing surface. In most cases, Thin Stone Veneer doesn’t require any additional framing or support. Thick Wall Stone is a full-bed depth stone that must be applied to surfaces that can bear weight. Both Real Rock® Thin Stone Veneer and Thick Wall Stone are authentic stone. Meaning they are naturally weather and UV resistant. This makes the product applicable for a variety of indoor and outdoor projects.
